From May 2023, you will see a new generation of stations gradually appearing in the city. The Gijón City Council will make every effort to ensure that the replacement process is fast and orderly. These electrified stations will be able to park and recharge the new bicycles. You will soon be able to consult the map of the stations.
2023 marks the beginning of a new era for Gijón bici.
250 electric bicycles will replace the current fleet and enter service on July 1st. This new service, available through the Gijón bici mobile app or the Citizen Card, promises faster commutes and an enriched experience for the inhabitants of the City of Gijón. Pricing for the service will be available soon, including pay-per-use, monthly and annual passes.
